Martha Stewart Hard Boiled Eggs

Anybody that knows me well knows how much I love Martha Stewart's vast knowledge of virtually everything. This morning was not the first morning I had used this recipe for the perfect hard-boiled egg. Jonathan needed some boiled eggs for his school because tomorrow his class is going to be dying their own eggs. I decided to make a GOOD hard boiled egg so once he brings them home colored, we can still eat them and not just throw them away :)

Here's a screenshot that I took this morning:

It is so simple and easy. Just put the eggs in a pan with water covering them, bring to a boil for one minute. Then pop the lid on for 14 minutes. It's just a matter of watching the clock. Then after 14 minutes, drain them out of the hot water and just run cool water over them or do what Martha said and pop them in an ice bath. Easy peasy. And you know what's amazing? You can do this for ANY amount of eggs. You wanna make a whole dozen of hard boiled eggs? Go ahead and use this same recipe. You wanna make 2, 3, or 4? Same directions. I love it! Here was my beautiful eggs afterward... I made 5 eggs so I coujld eat 2 deviled eggs for breakfast (hehehe):

They were SO SO good!! Like I said, I made 2 for myself but the other egg was definitely subpar for uploading onto the internet. Haha! All I did was pop out the yolks and mix them with a little mayo, little mustard, salt, and pepper. We have no relish :( But they were so good that Elaina ate the 2 ugly halves and I ate the other 2 halves. Lol. One egg just happened to peel perfectly off and the other shell was just a mess all over the place. But they were incredible. I was very satisfied. As usual, Martha outdoes herself once more :)
